About Somos One

Somos One was founded by Carlos Disner as a not-for-profit organization 501(c)(3), after he was approached by multiple people who wanted to donate to causes to support those in need, but were struggling to identify legitimate and honest organizations to which to donate. Somos One was founded in 2022 officially as a non-profit organization. Generous people want to know that they are truly helping and being good stewards of their resources. Somos One focuses on identifying and vetting organizations and individuals in countries outside the United States that do not have the same philanthropic organizations that the U.S. does. Every cause or request posted on this website is legitimate and has been vetted before going live on the site. Somos One is focused on bridging the gap between you and your generosity and those who are truly in need. Somos One means together we are one. There is no doubt that together we are stronger.
